Gravastar – Mercury V75

We combine industrial design and acoustic aesthetics: Our high-end peripherals impress with their design as much as their performance. The Mercury V75 is our first magnetic switch keyboard—developed to redefine the standards for 75% layouts with cutting-edge technology, gasket comfort, and RGB artistry.

True 8kHz polling rate

The V75 impresses with a true 8kHz polling rate—a lightning-fast 8000Hz USB polling combined with 256kHz key position scanning, achieving a latency of just 0.125ms.

Precise trigger, fast response, sustained performance

Gravastar x Gateron Magnetic Jade Pro switch

The Gravastar x Gateron Magnetic Jade Pro switches are engineered for industry-leading 0.005mm precision and adjustable actuation depth (0.1-3.5mm)—eliminating lag and providing seamless control. Perfect for clutch moments in CS2, precise aiming in Valorant, or a setup that always stays sharp.

Adjustable trigger point

Eliminate the slowest part of input lag: the initial key movement before activation. With 0.1–4.0 mm adjustable trigger depth (0.1 mm increments), each key precisely matches your playstyle—shallow presses for lightning-fast combos, deep presses for pinpoint precision. Ideal for reducing accidental presses and optimizing response times in fast-paced games (FPS/MOBA).

Dynamic quick release

The Dynamic Quick Trigger dynamically adjusts activation/deactivation points based on key movement (no preset limits) to enable smooth rapid fire—ideal for games with split-second responses.

Prioritize last key press + snap click

With last keypress prioritization, direction changes in games like Valorant or Apex Legends are executed smoothly and precisely. Snap Click intelligently resolves simultaneous presses – deeper presses take priority, while shallow presses are automatically reset. So you'll never miss a command again.

Fast trigger mode

No more waiting for "springback" – Rapid Trigger Mode resets buttons immediately after powering up, allowing you to react faster. Ideal for quick combos, skill shots, or changing direction in games.

Semi-aluminum construction

Durability meets modern design

With its innovative half-aluminum construction, the Gravastar V75 combines rugged durability with a sleek design: A robust metal frame forms the backbone, ensuring structural integrity even during intense gaming marathons, while a premium plastic base gives your desk a modern, lightweight look.

Hot-swap design

Adapt your keyboard perfectly to your game

Redefine your typing experience with the Gravastar V75's hot-swappable magnetic switches—replace worn-out switches or experiment with new feel—all without soldering. Our magnetic switches use advanced Hall-effect technology for precise actuation.

*Compatibility limited to select TTC switches and Gateron models (see our website for details).

5-layer acoustic foam

Silence meets sensation

The Gravastar V75's improved acoustic system minimizes keystrokes for a richer, more satisfying sound and a smoother typing experience. Whether you're dominating FPS combos or typing reports, this multi-layered construction ensures every press feels intentional, every click remains quiet, and your focus stays sharp.

16 modes, dual systems, multi-zone RGB lighting

Endless customization

The Gravastar V75's RGB backlighting system offers 16 dynamic modes and zone control – synchronizing keys and sidelights for an immersive experience. Adjust hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed, and modes to create your own unique style. Perfect for vibrant gaming scenes or relaxing typing in soft light – all customizable, allowing for limitless creativity.

Stable wired connection. One-click switch for gaming/office mode. Works with Windows and macOS.

Everything works perectly as intended, shipping was fast. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is the RGB options are a bit lacking for how cool the design is and the keycaps for the stealth black keyboard are less unreadable than I intially thought. Bought the cyberpunk keycap set to replace them so not too much of a problem.

This is an amazing keyboard, it’s almost perfect! Only thing it lacks is the customization of the lighting. On the side bars you basically have 2 options; the first options is solid color and the second is a rainbow effect. On the keys you do have multiple effects but you cannot customized anything past coloring each key separately. I do not see this as a problem tho. The side bars are the main problem, please add an option to control each side bar separately.

Very cool looking Hall Effect (HE) 75% keyboard

So let me start with the good:
- Hall Effect switches which lets you change the actuation point and rapid trigger which is very helpful for gamers
- Office mode switch for when you don't need the gamer level precision
- Sound and feel is really good. My only addition added a Nuphy Ghost Bar for the space bar to make that sound better (not bad to start tho).
- Per key RGB and secondary zone (around the edges) lighting that get pretty bright and have different patterns.
- Design (this is subjective) as a gamer keyboard - the cutouts around the edges has an organic shape.
- Volume rocker is nice for dedicated volume controls (although I think I prefer a knob)
- The build seems solid - it is heaver than my Aula 75 and my Melgeek keyboards.

And then a few minor things:
- The little screen doesn't do much. Would be better with time or something useful
- The keyboard fonts which, in general, aren't too bad (definitely gamer style) but some of the letters look almost identical (U an V for example). So I do like that the letters are BIG, but a little more distinction would be nice.
- If you lean back to type and have this on your lap, do NOT have anything magnetic in there. I had my Airpods Pro case in my pocket with the keyboard on my lap and the magnet in the case was enough to case ghost keypresses. Not sure if this is with all HE keyboards as it is magnetic driven, but definitely this one (it affects it if you wave the Airpods under or above the keyboard).
- Finally, while the configuration software is browser based (use Chrome and not Firefox, at least in my experience), it is a little wonky with Chinese text still shown in some places even if you have english selected. Its seems a little basic and I wasn't sure if it is accurate. In one case, the keypress tests would not zero out when not pressed and appeared that the actuation point was above the line of a not pressing. Not sure if I trust that, which is important if you want to configure it. Additionally, the site can be a little more friendly.

Overall, as my first HE keyboard, I liked it (issues notwithstanding). I was pleasantly surprised I liked how it felt since I usually do a mechanical tactile switch.
